The Process

Four unhurried appointments. No surprises in between.

From the first evaluation through the follow-up years later — the same specialist, the same practice, the same patient relationship. This is how independent hearing care is supposed to feel.

01

Evaluation

A full diagnostic workup with Kimberly Miller. Unhurried — no rushing through results. You leave with a copy of your audiogram, a clear explanation in plain language, and only if warranted, a discussion of next steps.

02

Lifestyle Consultation

The combine cab, the church pew, the grandchildren, the feed store counter, the dinner table. We talk about your week before we talk about devices — because the device should fit the week, not the other way around.

03

Fitting & Programming

The hearing aid is fit and programmed to your prescription from eight independent brand options. The recommendation comes after the lifestyle conversation, not before it.

04

Follow-Up Care

Follow-up visits included. Same specialist for the life of the device. If your hearing or lifestyle changes, we reprogram to match — not ask you to start over.

Practice Standards

What every patient gets, by default.

These aren't add-ons. They're how every appointment at Hear-Ology runs.

  • TimeUnhurried evaluations — no "twenty-minute hearing test" rushing. Results explained, not handed to you.
  • BrandIndependent recommendation from eight manufacturers, with no preference for any of them.
  • SpecialistEvery evaluation, fitting, and follow-up is with Kimberly Miller — no handoffs, no technicians.
  • TrialOklahoma law provides a trial period with every hearing aid purchase. Terms explained before any commitment.
  • Follow-UpFollow-up visits included for the life of the device. Same specialist every time.
  • RepairSame-day cleaning and minor repair whenever feasible. Devices fit elsewhere are welcome too.
  • No PHIWe never ask for insurance ID numbers, SSNs, or medical record numbers in our online form.
Insurance & Financing

We work with most major plans — and we'll clarify yours before your appointment.

Call us before your visit and we'll walk through what your plan covers for hearing care. We want the financial side to be the simplest part of your visit, not a surprise at the end.

Medicare: Diagnostic audiology services are typically covered; the hearing aid device itself often is not. We'll explain exactly what your plan covers before any commitment is made.
